I have Xcode installed, do I need to download the iPhone SDK to make iPhone games? It says it has Xcode in it, which I have installed, and is 2.5 gigs which is quite a bit. Or does Xcode come with all the tools I need?

I think I get it. There is a Mac and iPhone part to Xcode. Is there a way I can just download the iPhone part? Because 2.5 gigs is quite a lot for me to download.

    No

You need to always down load the iPhone SDKs
and they come with Xcode and the mac tools etc.

Every new beta will be 2.5 gigs and growing also ;)

I presume you are aware about the developer fees. Especially if you make a company - be careful, as you need to be a registered company.
And yes, you do need both Xcode and the SDK, because Xcode is updated and customized with each version.

I know that, isn't it just like $90 per app or something? I'm not worrying about that anyway, at least not until I actually make a game.

To register with apple as a dev you pay $100 each year. You can have as many apps as u want.
