It's a touchy situation because it means it's probably not selling well. Is Apple paying these devs to do this!? unlimitedfury Well-Known Member Jan 25, 2014 55 0 0 #9 unlimitedfury, Mar 16, 2015 Would you rather games never go on sale? Actually have to buy a game on its merits? We rarely have to pay the same price for a game released on PC. Don't complain if you haven't even bought the game, it's ridiculous. aeschylus72 Well-Known Member Apr 13, 2012 108 0 16 #10 aeschylus72, Mar 16, 2015 What does Metal only mean? aeschylus72 Well-Known Member Apr 13, 2012 108 0 16 #11 aeschylus72, Mar 16, 2015 I am not arguing with your point, but I can tell you if a game got released on Steam at £20, then 2 days later it was £10.. the steam forums would implode, have you seen it on there! Only devices that can utilize this are those with the A7 and above chipset. That means, iphone 5s, ipad mini 2, ipad air, and anything newer. That's how it should be done all the time. Not otherwise. Not like in this case. The same thing happend with Dustoff Vietnam and only explanation from the developer was "they didn't make it to App Store's Hot New Games" so that's why... We bought it the first day for a full price and two days later it was on sale for 0,99€. I just hope it's not gonna happen more often. justplainjay Well-Known Member Aug 13, 2012 139 0 16 Miami http://attackallapps.com #15 justplainjay, Mar 16, 2015 Launch sales I definitely don't mind. It's good for early adopters and really helps the game jump up the charts before the real price returns. Now, launch week sales are just rude in my opinion. Instead of rewarding early adopters, you slapped them in the face. It shows the developer wanted as much money out the gate from their "loyal" fans and then take everyone else's money, because they know the true fans will pay the real price Amenbrother Well-Known Member Jun 24, 2011 6,659 7 38 #16 Amenbrother, Mar 16, 2015 Agreed 100% man. I think it isn't fair either but I don't think it was planned. I agree it should be launch sale first, then full price. I don't think the devs are ever trying to be malicious. This case happens maybe every two months but turns into a huge deal. unlimitedfury Well-Known Member Jan 25, 2014 55 0 0 #19 unlimitedfury, Mar 16, 2015 I would be pissed too about £10, but only mildly annoyed at $2 Based Xatu Well-Known Member Aug 27, 2013 1,937 0 0 #20 Based Xatu, Mar 17, 2015 Crescent moon is hilarious.
