Each have their own Pro's and Con's

    for example,

    N.O.V.A - Pro- Multiple Maps
    Con- Hackers

    Modern Combat- Pro- Classes
    Con- Overpowered weapons

    Eliminate - Pro- Customizable
    Con- Power Cell (or w/e)

Archetype - Pro- Matchmaking lobby, Map veto option
    Con- Glitches

If only there were a FPS that had ALL of these Pro's...

No there won't, only because none of them have perfect comfortable controls on the iDevice. It never will feel as easy as any FPS on a major console with a double joystick controller, or a computer with a keyboard and mouse.

Brothers in Arms 2 is as close to perfection as you're gonna get imo.

Well at least the iPhone has the best controls for FPS games out all the portable/handheld devices (in my opinion).

Good correction :) Definitely is easier than any console controller, I just forget that often since I have been using a Mac these days :p

And PC FPS-ing is WAY easier than using a Wii.

its all about the circle strafe :)

what about dual virtual joysticks? has any devs tried that yet? and if so how does it feel compared to the standard 1 VJ and a scrolling/sliding (similar to mouse) interaction for look/aim/turning? better? worse?

I'm on a Mac, too, but with Steam and OnLive I'm getting plenty of FPS action...

It's been done before. Mainly by Gameloft.
Personally, I don't like it. I much prefer the 1 virtual joystick and swipe the screen to aim. But I think some people like dual virtual joysticks.
