Which $4.99 game is worth buying if im just getting one? Worms Star Hogs Assassins creed Peggle California Gold Rush (only $2.99 but cool looking) or Other please help me out only wanna buy one
This is a hard one. Peggle, Assassin's Creed, or Star Hogs. If you want something stress relieving, go with Peggle and Star Hogs. If you want something difficult, go with Assassin's Creed. If you want something that'll last a long time, go with Star Hogs. If you want a classic, go with Peggle.
Try the lite of Star Hogs, I voted for that because you have lots of levels, you get to buy upgrades for your ship, and there is real multiplayer with other people (and not just pass and play like with Worms).
i will try the lite and see what i think its really between star hogs and worms i just dont know which ones best so someone who has both and is not biased please tell me which
There are alot of better games for 1 buck, and of better quality, Peggle?. to repetitive, I think is overhyped, Assasins Creed?, whats next, Halo 3 for Iphone with a new campain?..waste of memory, u get better feeling of controls and graphics for the console version. Gold Rush?..dchoc games sucks, get I dig it (1 buck), I dont know anything about star hogs but it sucks (sorry, I cant say that it sucks, it was just the emotion ), is it like ishoot?. Worms is in XBLA for 5 bucks too, I think is better there, For me, the iphone/itouch is the best for small games pick up and play
If I could only get one game that costs $4.99 it would be Edge. edit: and it just occured to me now tha's it's no longer available
Out of these I would pick SH since it has tons of replayability, a creative twist to the normal trajectory game, and online multiplayer. Peggle gets boring after you beat the campaign oh so many times and you get stuck on the crazy challengs. AC gets boring once you beat it like once lol...SH > Worms. But I'm there are actually better games out there for .99 cents. If you like gameloft games, i would pick up real soccer 09, HoS, asphalt 4, siberian strike, and then another 0.99 game of your choice. I can guarantee that will be a much better (and much longer) gaming experience for you. Ah yes spend your last 0.99 on I dig it. !!
you have a hangar where you can store ships and parts you aren't using there are 3 ship types with different levels of customization so each has its advantages, disadvantages and upgrade slots available +1 to the suggestion for I Dig It, definitely a great game, especially at 99 cents, try the lite for that as well
No don't get any of those get baseball sluggers for 2.99 and FAST for 1.99 both of those are really fun and have online play. Baseball Sluggers has the most replay value of any game I've played on iPhone. But if u have to get one of those get peggle
You can unlock 1 more ship type as you play the game, so there's 4 ship types. As far as i know, you can gear up a lot of ships with different configuration in the hangar, but the maximum you can bring into a battle is 4 ships. So a 4 player online game will have 16 ships in total. You do need to gear up ships differently because there are a lot of unlockable weapons that are suitable for different offensive/defensive strategies. Definitely go for star hogs. The game last a long time with a full single player (32 level) campaign, tons of weapons, hot seat multiplayer and of course the very well implemented online multiplayer.
I love Assassin's Creed! The fighting is much more challenging than on Hero of Sparta, and it contains great platform adventure elements. I'd say, get that. I think Worms is the most likely to gain that.
Star Hogs is the best off this list, although Peggle, Gold Rush, and AC (which is a bit overrated) are all good too. No comment on the other.
And more expensive price tag does not equate to quality, especially true in a messy system like the Appstore. I agree with getting a few $0.99 or $1.99 games, since none of the games you listed are of any good in my opinion. Assassin's Creed may be fun for one playthrough, however it lacks replay value. It's pretty much an easy hack-and-slash game with extremely linear gameplay, no puzzles or anything.
