(hope this hasn't been covered) So what is your favorite game of all time? Mine would have to be Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, for the PS1.
Not even going to lie, it's Kingdom Hearts for the PS2. First game I got for the console. First console game I replayed. First game I spent over a hundred hours on. Made me love RPGs. That was nearly a decade ago, and I'm only 19. Today, I still can't believe how ahead of its time the game was. My runner-ups would probably be Starcraft II and FFVII: Crisis Core (PSP).
Funny how impressions differ: FF7: Crisis Core used to be at the bottom of my console game list...until I played Uncharted: Golden Abyss .
I need to replay (and finish ) the LoZ titles, Super Mario World, Super Metroid, and Okami to decide which is my definitive favorite. Although I don't know how I would compare these to Pokemon or Smash Bros. as those are my most played series of all time.
For serious??? Dude I love you. Getting everything, maxing out Alucard, getting out of the map... *drools* ... Where was I, oh yeah. Halo 2 would have to be my runner up, summer night LAN party's? Hell yes! About Dungeon Raid: If you don't already own it, go buy it now!
Fable 1 is probably my all time favorite. I played that game so much back then. It's unfortunate that the series is not getting any better though...
Hmmm... Hard question. Not sure I have an absolute favorite game- they're all so different it's hard to pit them against each other... I'll just say Metroid Prime.
My favorite were the shield rod combos (especially shield rod & medusa shield. amazing combo!). One time I spent 2 hours killing dodo birds until I had two rune-swords for both hands. that was sweet. In fact, I'm gonna start a new game right away.
