    Hi all!

So, I fell in love with Bounce On 1 and Soosiz and I have not found a platformer as good as them since and I would really like one.

I guess I liked that they were fun and hard, long and very entertaining.

    I've played the following

    Almighty Mr. Ice
Babylon Twins (liked this one too)
    Bounce On 2
    Castle of Magic
    Chop, Chop everything
    Domino Adventures
Edge and the new edge (which is actually a great game)
    Elemental Rage
    Giana's Sister
    Gravbot
    Grakion
    Hooga
    Hook Champ
League of Evil (like this one)
    Pizza Boy
    Plushed
    Rolando 1 and 2 (which I loved)
    Sonic
    Spybot
    Super Adventure world
    Undead Ocean
    Wheelers Treasure

Any suggestions. I know Bounce on 1 and Soosiz are two of the best platforms, but just hoping there are others.

    Thanks

    The red Skittle
    Hoggy
Seriously, go get it right now.

I don't see Mos Speedrun on your list either (Lite)

    Some other decent ones:
    Meganoid
    To-fu: The Trials of Chi

That last one isn't a traditional platformer, strictly speaking, but it's pretty good.

Oh, I played Hoggy, but not Mos Speedrun. I'll try that. :) Thanks! Wish they would make Soosiz 2 or BO3.

Definitely, definitely this one. Maybe it's because this was one of the first games I ever bought but I always loved it.

Dude. Get Chocorun for SURE. Most hardcore platformer I've played in a while. The controls are different, but work wonderfully. So here's my must-have list:

    Chocorun
    Pizza Boy
    Grokion
    Miss Claire Garden
    Frogatto
    Blookid

You already mentioned Giana Sisters, so... Wizzley Presto and the Vampire's Tomb. It's not so much a platformer as a Dizzy-style adventure game with platforming elements, but it looks great and plays well enough.

I was disappointed in the controls of this one. You found them ok? Maybe I should give it another go.

The game plays well enough, but it does have a couple of control issues; I should probably make that distinction. The button layout is not particularly intuitive, and the game doesn't seem to like multiple buttons being pressed at once (odd for a game that claims to have been built specifically for the iPhone), which can be a pain when you're trying to climb a ladder or attack an enemy under pressure.

Other than that, though, because the majority of the movement in the game is just left and right, rather than leaping across moving platforms and on top of enemies, it doesn't intrude too much. In WP, getting across floating platforms/clouds and throwing eggs at enemies is more a matter of timing than reflexes.

Not really much to add at this point.

    Mini Platforms
You mentioned you liked LoE, which is my second favorite game, only to be bear by MOS Speedrun. I would say that's a must get, based on your list. Robot wants Kitty is incredible as well. Maxplosion, if it doesn't bother you that it's a stolen idea, is a great game. Cavorite and 1-Bit Ninja are both awesome games. Not a true platform but I'll mention it anyway, Forget-Me-Not is a true gem. I could go on and on.

    Long Platforms
Frogatto is considered the best true (Mario-esque) platformer, similar to Pizza Boy, and Lars is great, in that same vein. I loved Miss Claire Garden. Sonic 4 and Sonic 1 are both the best of the best. Robo Rush is a Mario 1 reskin that has so-so controls but follows every inch of the original. Nix Quest and Emberwind just released and both are amazingly amazing, Candy Boy is a fresh twist and alot of fun.

Honorable Mentions (not all true platforms but oh well)
Minotron, Minotaur Rescue, Pix'n LoveRush, Air Supply (endless runner), Evil Robot, Don't Die, Meganoid, Karoshi, ElectroMaster, HungryMaster, Pixel City Skater, The Blocks Cometh, Bloo Kid, Biolab Disaster, Death Worm, Zeke in Orbit, Astral, Android, Toki Tori, Simpson's Arcade

    Love that game as well.

If you liked soozis you'll probably enjoy magnetic baby as well. Another great platformer is Max & the Magic Marker and try out Toyshop Adventures(if you don't mind freemium).

For me, my 2 favorite ones of the platformers I've tried are:
Frogatto (for longer/larger worlds; forgiving game)
League of Evil (for short/speed runs that doesn't frustate me cause of the short levels).

I think of Edge Extended as mix of platformer & puzzle, but I like it a lot too (not yet my favorite though). Others are good & fun, but these stick out for my tastes in platformers.

There are a lot of platformers out there, but for me the best are this:

They Need to be Fed - Mario galaxy like but minimalist, great in every way
Mos Speedrun - Fun and well thought, lots to do
    To-Fu 1 and 2 - more like a puzzler platformer, but fun
Meganoid - lots of gameplay elements and its like League of Evil

Hope you find what you are looking for... im also learning about some games :)
