No, honestly...I can't stand TD games, but Fieldrunners 1 and 2, Kingdom Rush and Anomaly Warzone Earth are all exceptional and everyone with iDevices should own 'em all. ninjackid Well-Known Member May 27, 2010 9,380 2 38 #8 ninjackid, Sep 6, 2012 Awesome, yeah I'm real picky with TD games, too. It was good for it's time, but there are now many better td games out there. Anyway, saw that you posted that you bought it already, so hopefully you'll like the game. I'm excited cause Plants vs. Zombies hd just came out with their retina ipad update, and it looks sweet! Also, got to play kingdom rush hd which I haven't gotten a chance to play much since I bought it. ak47killa Well-Known Member Feb 26, 2011 642 0 0 #13 ak47killa, Sep 6, 2012 This was the first TD game that I bought on the app store. It's still remains on my device and will never be deleted. Get this game if you don't already have it. nfong Well-Known Member Aug 30, 2011 1,186 1 38 #14 nfong, Sep 6, 2012 Wow, first time this is a buck since release in October 08. xP hsthompson Well-Known Member Jul 14, 2010 118 0 0 #15 hsthompson, Sep 7, 2012 IAP worth it? Anyone got an opinion on Skyway, Frostbite, Mudslide and Lavaflow? Snooptalian Well-Known Member Sep 12, 2009 1,938 8 38 #16 Snooptalian, Sep 7, 2012 I'd like to hear impressions on these 4 DLC maps too. Are they worth buying at .99 each? JChalmers New Member Jul 14, 2012 2 0 0 #17 JChalmers, Sep 7, 2012 I'm guessing if I get the 69p version it won't be supported on the new iPad despite supporting Retina graphics? Only just bought an iPad so still working out difference in apps. See a iPad version was £5.49.... Jibba Well-Known Member Aug 18, 2009 2,886 0 0 #18 Jibba, Sep 7, 2012 I'm surprised there's still so much love for the original Fieldrunners given how many great TDs are out there. I'm also surprised that this game was still $2.99 given that the sequel is $2.99. I'm not knocking the game. It set the groundwork for so many TD games afterward and was well worth the money when I bought it, but I just don't think the original can still compete like it did from 2008-2010. chapel07 Well-Known Member Jan 3, 2012 451 0 0 #19 chapel07, Sep 7, 2012 well..it's .99$..just.buy.it.now. A little outdated, perhaps, but I can see what all the hype was about back when this was released! Gotta go grab the sequel sometime. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
