      Title says it all! What are the best? Currently I'm really into AbbleDabble and Disc Drivin', but I crave more...

      - Battle for Wesnoth: Currently on sale for $1 and it full of content. Still one of my favorite games of all time in the Appstore.

      - Uniwar: Classic in the Appstore, and has a very well executed multiplayer.

      - Scrabble: Classic!

      Strategery - A risk-like clone that went mostly under the radar. One of my first purchases back when the app store was released, still on my iPod over two years later.

      Thanks for the suggestions! I've been a fan of UniWar and Words With Friends (similar to AbbleDabble) for a while!

      Thought I'd dust off this thread again.

      Disc Drivin' is great, all the With Friends games are fine. Uni War is a classic.

      What are some newer ones?

      Charadium! Has Real Time mode and ping pong turn based. You basically draw a picture and people are trying to guess what it is! :D

      Ascension: Chronicles of the Godslayer is my 2nd most played online asynch game.

      (#1 is Carc, #3 is Disc Drivin ;))

      OK, so Async is my favorite game type on iOS. Here are a list of the best as I know them,

      Disc Drivin'
      Carcassonne
      Words with Friends
      Kard Combat (active devs)
      Poker Pals
      Ascension: Chronicles of the Godslayer (just got a new expansion)
      Uni War (great TBS)
      Starbase Orion (4x space empire game)
      Reiner Knizia's Samurai (Hex TBS)

      Yep, I have a lot of them.

      I will have to check out the New World Colony game... looks cool :)

      EDIT: Those are not in any particular order

      Disc Drivin' is definitely the best as it fits the model so well and is just a plain fun game.

      Another great one is Ascension: Chronicle of the Godslayer, particularly if you buy the expansion.

      Carcassonne is also great, but I don't play it nearly as much as the above two.

      Developer here - thanks for the mention! If anyone wants to try it out, I just released a lite version for free. It doesn't have the asynchronous multiplayer (only the full version has that), but you can at least see if you like the game first.
