Hi all! I changed the game name to "Fangz" and I created a new thread for it here. There's finally a teaser video for you to see
In motion the game is truly unbelievable I won't post any more screenshots or videos until we're really close to publishing the game, since I'm a bit paranoid about other people stealing our ideas. I've only published these screenshots now to avoid being accused of copying Zombieville 2, since we're going to publish our game a few months after. The buttons will be configurable if we get significant feedback to do it, but currently they're hard coded (but the game plays very nicely). Alex
Heads blow off, limbs get torn, bodies can be incinerated... there's a world of vampire pain to explore in this game
We'll have two gameplay modes. The campaign mode will spawn through ten levels while telling a story through in game dialogs and cut scenes. This was meant as a one player experience and we won't have multiplayer here. The other mode, survival, will be a typical survival mode where you have to last as long as possible. Gamecenter leaderboards will be available for this mode, since this will foster some healthy competition All weapons/ammo will be inherited from the campaign mode, meaning that you're going to have to put some effort into the game before being competitive in the survival mode. No multiplayer will be available in the first release, but if there's a high number of requests, we'll do it in an update. Alex
Yes, as soon as the game is feature complete (i.e. in a beta state). I'll post here when I need beta testers.
You ain't seen nothing yet I'll only post a video when we're close to releasing the game, but I can tell you that these images don't do the game justice. At the rate we're going, the game will probably be out only in 2012, but we're doing our best to release a really polished gem. I'll keep this thread alive by posting new pics every now and then. Alex
Thanks! It'll come out sometime this year Other than that, I can't really tell, since this is a work of love that's not meant to be rushed Since you asked so nicely, here are a couple of screenshots of the first level's boss, Mrs. Sullivan:
Very nice looking game. Seems like this will grab my attention more than Zombieville 2. Also, just because you have a side-scroller looking game doesn't mean it's automatically a Zombieville clone. I get why you said that!!! If I had a dime every time I heard someone say clone, I'd be rich; especially for saying Angry Birds clone, though there are a ton of rips in the AppStore. Lol about the paranoia, but that's well understood as well. Looking forward to this! Edit Holy crap! This thread started in October!?!
Gameplay is pretty different from Zombieville. It's much faster and melee weapons take a more preponderant role, especially against faster enemies. Yep, this thread started in October, when MikaMobile first announced Zombieville 2. I felt compelled to post some screenshots, even though the game is still far from completion. I'm doing my best to get this game out as soon as possible, but it's a tough job, since right now I'm the only developer and I keep on getting interrupted, courtesy of my two young daughters and their cat P.S.- Paranoid? I'm not paranoid! Which of my enemies told you this?
Yeah, I'm definitely looking forward to this. Not to bash Zombieville, as I like(d) it, but it did get monotonous pretty quick IMO. Co-op did add to the thrill a bit, so I think it would be a very nice addition to your game. Hopefully you get enough revenue to add it in the future. No rush as long as it's good and not riddled with a bunch of nasty bugs. So far, this is a definite instabuy for me! Good luck and... THEY told me! *COUGH*behind you*COUGH*COUGH**
