It was originally a Wii game, correct? I know that since this has been released we've seen that Chillingo game, Bladeslinger, Gladiator, etc... Worth getting? forget the price, I mean, is it fun? undeadcow Well-Known Member Dec 4, 2010 9,493 2 36 Houston, TX #2 undeadcow, Mar 28, 2013 Rage of the Gladiator is a lot of fun, it reminds me a lot of NES era Punch Out. It's a steal for $0.99. The only draw back is that you fight ~10 colorful villians on each difficult level so after one go round you recycle back through at a harder level. Great game. It is not a hard game by any means and easy to see the patterns, but it still felt great to play, and the humor of it is what kept me playing. Like the other poster said, it is well presented and controls well enough. It doesn't feel Infinity Blade tough, but the gameplay is serviceable enough in a very manageable rock/paper/scissor sort of combat. Not entirely complex but still satisfying enough and still a steal for the asking price!
