Planet of Cubes - MMO block building sandbox Game

Hi All,

We have just released our new Massive Multiplayer Online (MMO) game “Planet of Cubes”.

Planet of Cubes is the first true MMO block building game with one global infinite world shared among all players. The amount of players is virtually unlimited and the size of the world is unlimited too. The game allows you to connect millions of players online to do creative block building similar to Minecraft.

Ancient castles and cathedrals, lost ships and aircrafts, flying islands, cities and megalopolises, military basis, Egyptian pyramids, epic monuments and many other exciting objects and places are waiting for your exploration in this infinite Planet.

Here is the link to the map of the center of the Planet

You start in the Spawn Zone (Ancient City) with coordinates 0:0 and can move whatever direction you wish.

The game has compass and current coordinates display to make navigation through the endless infinite world easier. You can also chat with all players who are visible within your current “View Distance” range.

In this version of the game each change you make has its lifetime (Time To Live or TTL). When you put or remove block this change is rolled back after some period of time (TTL). The farther you are from the Spawn Zone the longer your changes will last. The average lifetime of a change is displayed at the top of the screen as the TTL indicator.

You cannot build or dig inside the Spawn Zone. All cubes inside the Spawn Zone have TTL value of 0. Thus to build something make sure to leave Spawn Zone where TTL indicator is greater than 0.

The ultimate goal of this game is Online Multiplayer Survival with UNLIMITED amount of players worldwide on the INFINITE Planet made of cubes and blocks. We are working on this goal hard these days.
In this first version you can play only in creative mode though we believe this is very good start towards our ultimate goal.

Since this is only the start of something much bigger (worldwide multiplayer survival on the infinite planet, hunger games, sandbox shooters, where you can build/change everything around real-time) we would like to hear all of the comments/recommendations/feedback.

Our first trailer (more to come later this week):

Impressions so far:

While this game may seem like a great minecraft clone it is missing some very basic block ability that I believe hurts the game amd it's creativity, especially considering it is meant just to build. These things include
All blocks break at the same speed (leaves and stone will take the same amount of time to break)
You cannot place over items such as mushrooms (you must first remove the mushroom to place any block in its place instead of being able to instantly overwrite it)
Items such as tiles cannot be placed on the top "edge" of another block, only the lower section
Multiple doors cannot be placed to open separate ways creating a large entrance.
Movement is slow, but water movement is even worse, literally feeling like a crawl. I personally can handle the regular movement but water movement is absurd.
Moving slightly sometimes cancels breaking a block which already is slow.
If you place a block in the wrong spot (or any block that is) it is around 4-5 seconds to remove it, way to long

However there are some good aspects to the game:
Community is there, though seemingly it's a younger crowd and not a huge surprise with this type of Game
Block placement works well with a good range
Coordinates make it easy to travel and know where you've been working
Teleport is very nice
Chat seems alright, though I've not used it but once.
Zoned areas helps slow the spam from other players

Pretty much if you like building on a casual level this game could be for you. However, if you're one of those minecraft or survival craft players that believe in sophisticated structures I fear you would be agitated with the block breaking time, tile placement, door placement and maybe some other minor things that could be fixed by the dev.
