Looks a bit childish? iphoneandroiddev Member Jul 23, 2011 7 0 0 #3 iphoneandroiddev, Sep 30, 2011 It's only one game until now, not exactly a franchise. It's a very good game in fact, tried to be innovative, and that's more than what can be said of many games nowadays. Developed by Double Fine, tim shaffer's company, brutal legend people. It bombed financially when it was released though, worth a try. Sambo110 Well-Known Member Nov 27, 2008 849 0 0 Australia #4 Sambo110, Oct 1, 2011 It has a pretty big fan base though, a lot of people love it. It's also on Steam, knew I should've bought it cheap last Christmas. Ah well, never got to play it so I'm definitely interested. Who knows? It might have been too smart and innovative for its own good. For me it's the best platformer/action-adventure I've ever played. thom-22 Well-Known Member Jul 30, 2008 80 0 0 San Diego #6 thom-22, Oct 2, 2011 Yeah, it's like a cult classic, definitely one of the best platformer/action-adventure games I've ever played as well. Exceedingly creative and unique, gameplay is fresh on every level. I already owned it on Steam, playing it again on my Mac now and it looks and runs great. Also, this is not a game you're gonna finish in a few evenings of play -- it's probably 30 hours at least to max out your rank. MICHAELSD Well-Known Member Jan 4, 2010 482 0 0 #7 MICHAELSD, Oct 4, 2011 Simply, one of the best games of all-time. Download. Now. It's a true classic. I must have replayed Psychonauts more than I've replayed anything else. I'd love to re-experience it on my iPad but I may pick up the Mac version. I'm about 2 hours in and it is awesome so far, really well done. goiMot Well-Known Member Oct 21, 2009 5,079 0 0 Physician #9 goiMot, Nov 23, 2011 On sale for $4.99 metalcasket Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze May 24, 2010 11,064 1,340 113 Deepest Circle, Hel #10 metalcasket, Nov 23, 2011 My comment's way too ambitious, but man would I kill for an iPhone port of Psychonauts! dyscode Well-Known Member Apr 11, 2010 1,102 0 36 Living World #11 dyscode, Nov 23, 2011 despite being a cult hit that shared an equal fate and equal quality with Beyond Good & Evil this is also not a native Port. But it's hard not to noticed the huge hype around it! I mean, judging from the gameplay, it doesn't look staggering. Can someone please just tell me in a few sentences why this is so good? Thanks! Duke Floss Well-Known Member Mar 12, 2010 890 0 0 Writer - Producer - Engineer English Roundabout http://www.heavyjack.com #15 Duke Floss, Dec 30, 2011 just bought it with the last of my xmas gift card. The game is just a very well rounded 3d platform game with an excellent story, cast of characters and superb voice acting. Also it was designed by Tim Schafer of Day of the Tentacle, Full Throttle and Grim Fandango fame.
