Looks pretty cool! Here is the video embedded below: Here is the information that was by the youtube video:
The website states that the game is available now, but the link leads to a different title. I even checked the Spanish iTunes store, just in case, but nada. Any info on the status? Has it been submitted to Apple yet?
Looks good and i dearly remember Thrust and would pay serious cash is someone just ported the original to iPhone untouched but this one looks light for some reason... Seems like the pods don't have much weight to them ... thrust was all above manouvering this heavy ball and it felt heavy ... this looks too fast and easy to move around... Might just be this particular video and to be honest, i'm still gonna buy it
This looks really nice. Good, clean, crisp graphics and classic game-play that should work well with the iPhones accelerometer. Any word on a release date? P
This game looks good. I would buy it.....Kinda like a modern Thrust....but from the video it looks really good and really easy to control. So im down!
I don't know when it will be released, but apparently anyone can betatest the full game right now... http://graviton.virtway.com/beta-en.php
It looks like a competition to another app.. Also seems that U devs out there found a diff way of allowing us to add these files to our devices without JB or supplying Promo Codes..
I'm not really sure what you're trying to say. There is a competition for the beta testing to encourage people to beta test and as a reward for one. It's an interesting idea and there are lots of people out there (including me) who are happy to beta test without a reward. Also the developers create Adhoc versions of the game for people to beta test, no JB or promo codes needed.
I think he means that blimp game that's coming out soon. http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=10434&highlight=blimp The visuals are similar, as is moving around, but both games have different objectives.
Has this method of providing Device ID & becoming a Beta tester been working for quite sometime now ?
Yeah the two games do look similar except Graviton is in 3D (well 2.5D). Yes, beta testing for iPhone apps has always required Adhoc versions of the game using the iDevice UDID. I've beta tested quite a lot of games for the iPhone and it works really well.
I sent them my device ID a matter of hours ago, haven't received anything as of yet, though. I wonder how long ago this started, and if they are even still doing it.
Your right there are no dates anywhere... I did have a look at the highscores list though and there are only about 3 different names so I'd think that they would have wanted more beta testers than that. We will see soon enough though.
Beat me at it! But you're right not that much of a crowd on the highscore page... They are in Spain so probably won't get back before another 10 hours or so.
