Apple raise prices of Apps in the European AppStore to 0.99 ?!

Used to be: USD0.99 = SGD1.28

Now: USD0.99 = SGD1.48

Weird, according to Pocket Gamer, this is just a new tier to give devs more pricing options. How strange though that the tier is exactly the same price as the one below it in the US, and just more in other countries. I guess they don't want to mess with everything ending in ".99" for the US.

I saw this the other day with a translator app for 0.99 and was shocked as I hope the AppStore doesnt become Steam and sells its products accodingly to its exchange rate. 1$ is not 1.

We won't be changing any of our stuff.

Can't nickel and dime my own countrymen, even though as a proportion they don't buy our stuff anyway!

USA is massively our only market nowadays. Not sure why that is, UK are mad on gaming, but accounting for the population size, nowhere near equal in our showings.
