Considering the huge amount of crap that has been jammed into the app store lately, I think this is gonna be a breath of fresh air. It is a large scale turn-based sci-fi strategy game. But the best thing is multiplayer man (or woman) MULTIPLAYER! Looks a bit good! Reading the review linked from PG has me a bit worried that moving so many units every turn will be a tad labourious but it does look special! I'm in, either way!

I'd just started playing Battleworld Kronos on my PC compliments of GOG. It's a polished game with fun references to the old Battle Isle series (which occurred on Chronos). Glad to see this coming to iOS, it's a big addition to the App Store. The developers just released a FREE 15 hour additional content DLC with 4 new unit types; that was very classy to see a free upgrade so far after release. Edit: Battleworld Kronos might even play smoother with a touch interface, less dragging and clicking.
I have to go grab that off of GoG then and I will definitely be grabbing this as well for my iPad when it hits!
On their German site I found the Information that they are in the Beta stage and that they have no idea how long it will take ... that post is two days old.
OK thanks for the info. No idea where the info in first post came from that it's nearly upon us. BTW, I don't get time to go info hunting (working 15 to 18 hours a day), I barely get time to sleep in fact, so don't think I'm just lazy
