I've played this for a couple of days now and IMO, if you want to progress after the first few hatches you need to be prepared for long wait times or splash the cash.

I'd quite like to see a one off IAP to half hatching times, which I'd be happy to fork out for, but I'm not willing to spend, spend, spend. They could do with a couple of mini games to help pass the time. On the plus side, the graphics are pretty nifty.
