Gameloft is usually really good at porting games from older game consoles, just look at Driver and Earthworm Jim. Hopefully it has good graphics and is very similar to the original, if it is, I will be buying, what about you?
More than likely, I've always loved the Rayman series. Eh, I've always loved platformers period. So, yeah I'll be getting this.
Maybe. I already own the game on PC, however. I am at least looking forward to seeing if Gameloft can pull this off on the iPhone. If they do, it will unquestionably be the greatest traditional 3D platform game on the iDevice.
Yeah, I too own the original PC version, although I'm curious as to how the controls will feel, but no theres no doubt that the iPhone can handle a port like this without framerate or graphical issues. Let's just hope it doesn't repeat what happened to Rayman DS...
Maybe if the first impressions show that the controlls actualy work im not realy sure that an Idivice is the right system for a 3d game
Absolutely. I cant wait to try this game again. It was such a dissapointment on the DS only cause of the controls. hopefully this time they will get it right.
Yes, I love Great games from my past. I think I was just graduating high school when Rayman 1 launched for PS1
Nope. Had it been Rayman, then yes, It would of been a day 1 buy for that sexy little 2D classic. I would of preferred to see the 2D version with it's bright vibrant colors then a boring 3D platformer.
Played this on GBA and was the "game of the ?" (insert title here) at the time. Watched a video and thought that it didn't look that great. The game looked kind of barren when Rayman was going through his paces. But too early to tell. But I'm really having high hopes for it cuz I really liked it back then. About time!.............hope its good!
i might buy rayman 2 but i was hoping for the 2d rayman as i have tons and tons of similar games in 3d on my ipod would have been nice to have had a decent 2d game for a change, now if the 2d versian was being released also i would snap them both up
Nope, and I wouldn't had it been the 2D Rayman either. I played it recently and while it was great back in the day, it hasn't stood the test of time very well at all. Feels like one of the weaker platformers of the bunch.
