Hm. I'm pretty sure Kepa said a release date wouldn't be mentioned until almost a week before its release.

    So. Unknown. Heh.

Around a month before its release sounds like a good time to announce it.

Mostly because I have no idea when. Right now we're messing with level generation algorithms.

Kepa can we see some test footage, when you get it working well enough to do so.

It's too early for test footage!

Also too early for a name. I don't think we even officially named Mage Gauntlet until the video trailer was out?

Is Gnomey gonna be the secret early buyer character?

    Yeah.

I guess that's not very "secret".

Our intent (though this may change) is to make him a parody character, with his gameplay basically being a small-scale Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Find [random Zelda item] every X levels or so. This is really early, but I'm wondering if we could do randomly generated puzzles based on what items the player has.

It'd be free to whoever got it the first day, and anyone else would have to wait 1-2 months and then unlock it with gems.

Can't wait to fork over my money to you.

Rocketcat games have the most quality and fun value to cash ratio of any entertainment purchases I've ever made.

Keep up the amazing work you brilliant bastards!

Now that is a high-quality 4th posting right there, especially the last sentence.

First time posting on here. Love Mage Gauntlet and looking forward to the future installment!

About the rotating class availability, if you run part way through the adventure for that day and the class selection moves on, when it comes back around to that class again, do you lose any progress you made when you last played it?

You don't lose any progress. You keep all unlocked loot, all upgraded loot, and all dungeon level progression. The only "wall" we'll do is that you have to wait like a week or so to play the same class again for free.

Edit: Also I posted the Cultist today, hopefully the original post can get updated because it seems really convenient. That rounds up the class previews, except we'll do a "secret" class preview when the game is almost out. Next week I'll start focusing more on the systems of the game.

Here's the part that confuses me though, won't some loot be character specific? Weapons mainly, maybe armor too? Or will they be universal?
