We are not ready to announce a game called Stair Dismount Touch at this time. Such a game does not exist at all, or at the very least is not in reasonably late stages of development, or very playable at this time. Any rumors of screenshots coming soon are flat-out lies, and would certainly not represent a hypothetical product. If such a game existed, it might theoretically be a small-scale evolution from the original Stair Dismount - with perhaps support for custom faces on Mr. Dismount. It would be foolish to add a button for taking screenshots into the game, that would only make it easy to... take screenshots. Any such speculations should be dismissed for being redundant. [EDIT] We also deny that this officially unsanctioned screenshot would be official, or that the game would look like this. There is no further information to deny at this time. [EDIT] Nov 19th, 2009 - No point denying... Introducing the Stair Dismount iPhone Introduction video! [EDIT] Nov 23rd, 2009 - Stair Dismount is launching on Thanksgiving week 2009.
This was the worst developer post ever. I could not be less interested in the game if I was Bill Gates, and everything could dissuade me from my current opinion.
I've no interested in this what-so ever, and would not have found some videos of a possible technology test, because, as we all know it does not exist. but if it did exist I'd have to say I would not be interested in buying it at all, here are some videos that have nothing to do with this. lets hope we never hear any more on this complete non-event ever! there is absolutly no sign of Frand in the second video WHAT-SO EVER!
Just to add for misinformation purposes, these videos definately ARE from the iPod Touch and iPhone version of the game.
I Know they ARE, but as is was released for all to enjoy, there is no chance it could have changed into the event that is very much not in question. this is not in any way hard to understand....... :S
of course, the iPhone definitely CAN run that many moving physics objects on-screen at the same time. furthermore, we WOULDN'T like to see Frand fall down stairs repeatedly and would never include him in a product we aren't going to release, ever.
There was never a game about falling down stairs, and if there was we have no knowledge of it. This discussion is over!
