    Hi All,

A question for those of you who have sent Apple the required forms to limit/eliminate the 30% taxing of royalties generated from sales in Japan:

Apple states they mail the forms off (to Japan?) in batches every month; I also read (either on Apples site or on the forms themselves) it can take up to 90 days for the forms to "take effect".

How do you know everything is accepted and ready to go? When you receive your first royalty payment from sales in Japan?

    Thanks

Log into the iPhone Dev Center

    Click on iTunes Connect

Click on Contracts, Tax and Banking Information

Near the bottom of this page you'll see "For developers residing outside of Japan who wish to sell applications in Japan, for Japanese tax treaty information, click <here>"

Click "<here>", and the forms will be on the next page.
