The purpose of this is to briefly introduce ourselves as the first company for localizing and publishing games in the Middle East & the Arabic region.

The Arabic language is spoken by over 350 million individual as their mother tongue, with a decent portion of them using consoles, handhelds, and smart phones; yet no Arabic gaming support in the industry has started. Maybe we're lucky that no one already did! The gaming industry has rapidly grown in the past years, not even being affected by the economic recession, beating the music industry, and getting stronger each day until someday it will even be stronger than film industry.

Before you continue reading about Soulit, I'd like to note that by letting Soulit localize your games, you have nothing to lose, and I'm going to explain how:
We do not charge for localizing and marketing the game , both going to share the profit from selling the localized game, if it sells then you acquire new revenue, and if it doesn't reach the targets explained in the coming paragraphs, you still sell your normal unlocalized game in its native language as if nothing had happened (so no harm or whatsoever). We don't want to interfere with your own market, we are giving both of us the opportunity to reach a new market without losing any privileges for both sides.

    Our start:
Starting on the iPhone and similar gadgets for their simplicity and light content, we are very pleased to start projects with your company, as we are sure that by localizing and publishing your iPhone games to the Arabic market, your games will reach a whole big new market and audience that you didn't notice before, this will generate big funds for your company, and a wider range to your games, adding here that the Arabic region have rich consumers for gaming that are willing to pay for top rated and good quality games.

    Let us do it:
As we are gamers, knowing what a gamer wants, having the opportunity by letting Soulit localize for you, guaranteeing that your games will have a top rated localization in programming, texting, dubbing or whatever is needed to make sell the product in this region.

Soulit hopes to start a long business relationship with developers and publishers by letting us release the first Arabic games in the industry that will open new doors for both of us.

    Our goal:
As we are absolutely thinking big for our future plans, we decided to start little on game development, then building step-by-step, building our database gradually to reach our goals on richer texts, more effecting voice acting, and better overall quality on each and every game we develop and localize, until we are capable of including bigger things and providing a richer game variety with more advanced games on the latest consoles, by localizing RPG's, FPS, Action, and 3D action, constantly adding more to our range.

    Localizing Reasons Brief:
Noting that Marketing and publishing games in Arabic language for the Arabic region is much better than English or any other second language for the following reasons:

    · Most people in the Middle East and the Arabic region speak only Arabic.

    · A high percentage of games target are the children and teenagers, who are still in the stages of learning a second language in our countries, or haven't even start learning yet, leaving them without having the full game experience and not having the best treat with less understanding and enjoyment.

    · Releasing such games that are dubbed or translated into Arabic will cause more popularity and approach in the mind of those children, giving the right characteristic attraction dragged from (our/their) own understanding to jokes, fear, and action - through speaking to them in (our/their) own mother language, knowing better the way they live and what makes them laugh and cry (you can notice that every animated cartoon is dubbed into Arabic with very famous and funny Arabic actors, because companies like Walt Disney realize this) .

We can cooperate with developers and publishers to market these localized games to the several Arabic countries with our Arabic marketing ports to promote these games.

    Kind Regards,

I read your thread and it's very interesting, but it does not explain a lot.

Are you looking to localize and publish current iPhone titles on some 3rd party store?

Currently iTunes does not support an Arabic localization of the product. Nor does the iPhone support Arabic in the language settings. So the user could not even set the device to one of these languages. I'm quite baffled as to how you would make any money.

LOL so is Nihongo, Mandarin, Fench, Swahili, etc.

Language is never a problem for good localization firms. Now what might be a problem is with the theme of the game that might be offensive with some Arabic cultures.

we don't think a naked women is an Arabic issue , a naked women is bad for children's worldwide , so something like that goes in the age rating system

stuff like insulting Muslims or their religion , god , or any kind of such stuff regarding their way of life (Arabic people) what we concern for
