Must be non-jrpg/krpg and NOT turn-based (also no card games or puzzle games (like 1000000), or infinity blade clones.

Can be anything from Ravensword to Solomon's boneyard. It doesn't matter if it's 3D, 2D or anything in between. It doesn't matter if it's open-world or not.

Any suggestions (ANY!) are more than welcome.

    So far, I've got:
    - Ravensword 1&2
    - Aralon
    - Solomon's Keep & Boneyard
    - Orc Vengeance
    - Heroes & Castles
    - 9th Dawn
    - WazHack
    - Bard's tale
    ..............??????

It's not like it's a rare genre or anything... So why have I such trouble finding those games???

Battleheart (gear/loot galore, also can hire new characters, talent trees)
    Bastion
Lara Croft (a little light on the rpg elements, but you do unlock upgrades, and the live action/puzzles are awesome!)
    Pocket RPG
Mighty Wardens (starts great, gets old fast)

Mage Gaunlet is a cool throw back arcade style rpg - very cool and satisfying

Secret of Mana is a legendary classic. Has some serious difficultly imbalances though.

Dragonslasher is a cool minimal side scroller rpg. Really awesome art design. Nice and challenging

Thanks for this suggestion. I believe I'll buy it. Thanks again.

Earth and Legend is a really bad game... I bought it day 1 though, maybe I'll check it out now. I didn't know it got updated so frequently. Thanks.

The first two are JRPGs/KRPGs. Dragonslasher looks really good though. Thanks a lot.

I would put a lot of the choices above in the adventure / hack 'n' slash genre. In all honesty, real-time RPGs on iOS are quite rare.

KOTOR is a heavily disguised turn-based system. However, it should play like a real-time system to be worthy of your attention.

I think it's your use of RPG that is throwing people off. I suspect that if you mean adventure / hack 'n' slash (Diabloesque), you'll find more considerations.

I'm not looking for those god-of-war beat'em up kinda games, unless they have a fair amount of RPG elements (which diablo-esque games have).

I knew what you meant, I think we have similar tastes in rpgs as well looking at your list.

Try the Spiderweb games as they are awesome if you don't old school Ultima style RPGs with lots of options:
    Avadon
    Avernum: The Pitt
    Avernum 6

Also I am a big fan of the old Wizardry/Bard's Tale/Might and Magic style of games. As such I would recommend:
    The Quest Gold
    Silversword
    Quest lord

    Just my suggestions...

The biggest, baddest, best RPG on iOS: Baldur's Gate.
It's not currently available on the AppStore due to some contractual disagreements, but hopefully it'll be available again soon.

When (if) it does, grab it as fast as you can. Nothing in the genre comes remotely close to the vast scope and great gameplay as Baldur's Gate.

    Neither are technically J or K RPG's.
Mage gauntlet is a Zelda - esque and missing all the fetch quests etc that tend to be indicative of Krpg's. Also, it's made by Rocketcat (American RPG?).
Secret of Mana would traditionally have been called an adventure or action RPG. It was Japanese made though.
Just sayin'. If you don't like them, that's cool.
My suggestions; Bastion and Pocket RPG.
    Maybe Anodyne.

I never considered Bastion as an RPG, but more ov an action adventure game.

You're fully right. However, if Diablo is an "RPG", why not Bastion.
