From what I hear, they are very happy within the EA group and as autonomous as they can be. They basically get to develop games as they want to, kinda the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" principle. That they get to do their own thing means there's nothing to worry about. Plus they get to work with another great EA studio right in the same building.
I guess they can show us supported devices now because iPhone 5, iPad 4 and iPad mini are now known Apple devices. I am waiting for this game every day - I've got "nothing" to play on my iPhone (nothing= many other games ) Will there be normal online (not just Time shifted?)
Any new insight regarding release date on this? So hope it will be out soon.... it looks absolutely fantastic!!!
This is nothing new ,but they posted it yesterday There is a chance they will support iPhone 4, slim one. 1st it's EA publishing this game and they are money hungry - so wider audience is a goal of theirs 2nd Game has been in development for a year and 8 or 6 months ( i read that in some article that i posted before) Even if they decide to support legacy devices we will probably see same thing that happened with Most Wanted a really dumbed down graphics (actually i meant effects), so RR2 might look better on older device than RR3 if that happens. - It's just a wild guess I know that they restructured pipeline of the engine and stuff so who knows Either way I'll be happy what ever the outcome might be
I think the key difference there is that its gone from 'fall 2012' to 'coming soon'. That would be a big marketing difference. Colour me optimistic now.
Cheers, wouldn't have noticed it if you hadn't posted the link, so we'll share that particular catch. I'm waiting for some new gameplay videos to show up which can't be too far away. Some press and websites seem to be implying that some brief hands on impressions are close.
Take this with a grain of salt I saw her on 14. October post the same thing on other site regarding RR3 Well, eventually she will be right But yeah, i think we will see it soon ------ This article claims it's coming in December, just before Christmas Marketing wise it makes a lot of sense, keep in mind that a lot of triple A games (and Wii U) are coming out during this and in first half of next month. Needless to say they are on different platforms but still.. And RR2 was released on December 20th in 2010. Only thing Firemonkeys confirmed is: On track for release this year, more info coming soon
