[Japan]Wonder Flick (by Level-5)

Info

Level-5′s “1000 hour” free-to-play JRPG Wonder Flick is now available on iOS in Japan. The game supports cross-platform saves and is also due out on PS3, PS Vita, PS4, Wii U and Xbox One sometime this year.

The game utilises a vertical orientation on both iPhone and iPad and gets its name from the token-like icons which you flick towards the battle screen during combat. Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu contributed towards the game’s catchy soundtrack which you can hear a sample of in Wonder Flick’s launch trailer below:

Level-5 hasn’t confirmed a Western release as yet but if the game performs well in Japan then there’s every chance that it will eventually wash up on our shores.

Aw man I want it! Can someone comment how playing it is in Japanese? Not sure how much enjoyment I'd get from guessing the menus/story. However I'm so tempted because I've been watching this release ever since it was announced.

Oh and do you need to be online to play it?

It`s not that hard since guessing pretty much will sooner or later make you able to move forward at some point.

I love Level-5 and I'd love to have another RPG on my phone from them, but I'll probably wait until it gets an English release. If I'm going to free that much space for it, I'd want to be able to read it all! But looks and sounds great.
