I just noticed this game in an article on Kotaku There is also a dev blog, which the developers - who describe themselves as " ...a renegade team of industry professionals with the crazy idea of throwing AAA graphics to the curb, and over the top budgets to create something downright fun just like the early pioneers in our industry..." - plan to update regularly through a development phase that they describe as "freakishly fast", and there is also the suggestion that there might be test builds posted there to play and comment on in the future. The game is described as "...A pixelated family fun adventure of running, jumping, collecting, racing against the clock " A familiar premise perhaps; but with, the developers claim, a twist. Some screenshots/concept art (not sure which)-edit-their dev blog was updated with the full, un-cropped images, and now it certainly looks more like a side-scrolling platformer: New Images:

haha that looks like Mario and Luigi , very cute. The pixelated art style reminds you of 8-bit nes, glad to see old classic's comming back.
Thanks again for the interest and replies everybody We just updated our blog again with a little "surprise". See here for more info: http://www.tobgame.com/ Thomas P.
Definitely. Seeing the pictures, I now have the same tingly feeling that I had when I anticipated the releases of S&S and Puzzle Agent 2.
Same here. Unique art-styles like this really catch my eye, and I particularly like the use of colours that seem to be happening in this title. I just hope the game is as good as its visuals are.
Glad to hear that. Nailing the visuals is tricky and has to be well balanced. As for gameplay, that is even more important and we will make sure it's going to be fun!
Just thought I'd share a few more shots...you can find animated "GIF's" of the same shots on our website (apparently the forum here converts the GIF's into .jpg). http://www.tobgame.com Thanks for checking it out!
you've got to be kidding me... I don't say this often, but now it's needed: TAKE MY MONEY NOW AND GIVE ME THE GAME
