With all of these new games hitting the App Store today for the iPad, I'm REALLY struggling to decide on what I want to get on Day 1. It's tough because a lot of my favorite iPhone games are now upgraded to "HD". Really, I want to see how some of the standard iPhone made apps fare on the iPad. However, that being said, I'm really leaning towards getting: NOVA HD Asphalt 5 HD Real Racing HD Raging Thunder 2 HD NFS Shift HD As you can see, I'm a racing Junkie and can't wait to see what some of these will look like. I'm really trying to dwindle the list down to just one or 2 from the list above since they are more expensive. So how about you, what's on your buy list?
+1. I own an iphone 3gs and a Macbook pro, what do I need an iPad for? I'll wait til june to get the new iphone instead.
Hi, For posters Random Guy and goiMot, the title of the thread is "Future iPad owners - what games are you picking up?" If you have no plans to buy an Ipad, why post? For me, it will be a month or two till I buy one so I have not made any decisions to apps or games to buy. The Ipad version of Battle For Wesnoth looks to be one but from ther, I am not sure. David
Probably C&C Red Alert HD, Minigore HD. Haven't looked at the full list of games at launch since I'm not getting one right away.
That's great and I respect your choice, but I was hoping to hear posts from others like myself who are getting and iPad this weekend.
Plants Vs. Zombies HD maybe Minigore HD Some racing game just to get an idea for how cool its gonna be. Probably go with Real Racing HD I already got over 30 free iPad apps including netflix, marvel comics, aurora feint, we rule, and more downloaded and ready to go!
They're trolls, that's why. They feel like they need to post even when they have nothing to contribute to the topic being discussed. (It's annoying, but I think they are also just young children.) Anyway, I am not going to get an iPad until the 3G version is available. I am looking forward to NOVA and the pinball games from gameprom. I was also looking at "Pianist Pro" from MooCow--I have their Pianist app for the iPhone, and the youtube video of Pianist Pro looks awesome. (It's not a game, I know...but it looks really good!)
Shredder Chess HD maybe Plants and Zombies HD. I have Shredder but not P&Z I'm torn having to re-buy my apps so it will be interesting to see how small versions display as 2x The big question for me is Will HDs play better, larger? on the 3g wait

If I get an iPad, most likely the 64 Gb AT&T version, I will be picking up Geometry Wars and Warp Gate HD. And most likely the iWorks apps if they fulfill my needs for personal work and business.

Call of Duty: World At War: Zombies HD (I really don't care about the price!) Not going to get the iPad tomorrow, but I will certainly buy one when the price goes down a little 'cause, unfortunately I don't havev an extra $500+ dollars in my wallet. I don't get the point of the ipad. Apparently it's for web surfing and yet this thread is about games. I'd rather spend the money on console games.
