I am going off the entire internet next wednesday so I can have no spoilers from Nintendo's E3 Direct until I can watch it afterschool :|

There was a great E3 preview of Lords of Shadow 2 explaining the setting and gameplay changes of the sequel. And the trailer revealed it to be the "conclusion of the saga". Hopefully they show more gameplay.Im excited at the idea of a seamless open world as opposed to the linear chapter progression of the first game. This may be good news for the castlevania fans who didn't like part 1.
I didn't exactly hate part one, it just wasn't Castlevania at all, and I can't see any reason why it should be other than essentially trying to trick people into purchasing it due to the label. The sequel might be good, but an open world still isn't going to make it a CV game in my mind.
I dunno, there was a lot more to it than simply climbing on enemies. SotC wasn't the first game to do that anyway.
Geoff Keighley just tweeted that there will be a special PS Vita unveiling just before the Microsoft conference... wonder what that's about?

I'm pretty sure that isn't Rare's big announcement. I'm expecting Killer Instinct but I won't be disappointed if it isn't announced.
