This is a heavy speculation at the moment, but Rochard has been confirmed to arrive on Tegra 4.

If conventional wisdom is to be followed, it should come to iOS too, sooner rather than later, unless their terms with nVidia dictate otherwise.

    From their website:
"P.S. Meanwhile, we’ve been developing a self-funded iOS/Android game since late January, 2012. More about that soon!"

Hmm...interesting. I don't remember any Android or iOS site carry such news. So that about confirms it!

At least we know what the icon looks like

Rochard is coming to iOS, but it's a different game.

On February 26th, 2012, Jan (from Recoil Games) mentioned it on the post of the Mac version of Rochard: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=117776.

So the problem lies in the fact that (1) iOS devices' touch-screen is not suitable for the game to be played (Project Shield has a touch-screen but also has a physical keyboard), (2) iOS devices' hardware is not strong enough to handle the game (Project Shield uses NVIDIA Tegra 4 which is much stronger).

However, that was the time when iPad 3, iPad 4 and iPhone 5 have not been introduced. With the appearance of these devices, as well as upcoming iOS devices (iPad 6, iPhone 5S...), the second problem can be solved! The first problem can also be solved as there are some rumors that Apple is developing a physical game controller for iOS devices. Therefore, there's no reason that Rochard cannot be fully ported to iOS.

WE WANT A FULL PORT OF ROCHARD TO iOS, NOT A ROCHARD-THEMED iOS GAME, RECOIL GAMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :(
