Commenting inconsistencies

Just a small thing, why is it that with the iOS app I can log in and post comments using my TouchArcade account, I'd assume this forum account, but on the website itself that doesn't seem to be an option only letting me use third party sites like twitter, facebook and disqus to log in with. Or am I just missing where I can log in with my normal account here on the site?
