Mac software for adding album art to MP3s?

    iTunes isn't reliable, I need an alternative. Not a source for the images, just something that'll embed 'em all into the files.

    Agree with you about itunes not getting the art right I have to use mp3tag on windows it's nice because it can do an entire album at a time and fetches the art for you. You still need to refresh album art in itunes afterwards or it doesn't spot the change though.

    If you can't find a proper OSX one maybe this might help link

    Although I'm sure someone must be able to point out a native alternative.

    It wasn't so much getting the artwork correct, iTunes was corrupting my files. I tried for ages to figure out what was causing it as they'd always work fine before I imported them. It turns out that if I use iTunes to add artwork to an album with a lot of tracks (roughly 20), something goes wrong half way and all tracks from there on become corrupt.

    I guess I could continue to use iTunes and add the artwork one half at a time, but the fact it's corrupted files at all makes me hesitant to trust it again.
