I sold my ipad 4 months ago, but im rebuying when the ipad 5 comes. i really like gaming on ipad, but i am not a huge fan of free games with IAP, so any recommendations on games i should check out that has been released the last few months?
Four months? Xcom: EU. By the time you get an iPad 5, any iOS 7 related bugs should be gone. It's amazing. It got the full blown multiplayer and an awesome single player with tons of content. The only downside with the multiplayer is that it's Gamecenter rather than cross-platform.
Also (and this game has some optional iAP, not game breaking at all), you need to get monster adventures by Foursakin Media. It's an amazing game.
To add to the suggestions above, I love Orborun and Rollabear as well. The former has IAPs, but completely optional. Shadow Vamp is also a great game.
Check out the following. They may have IAPs, but they are there to ruin the game for gamers, and spoil the non-gamers. Some of them may have already been mentioned as well. Don't know whether I should create a new thread but I am also upgrading to an iPad 5. Any iPad exclusive / games which didnt work on iPod 4 that I should get? (Already have strike team , xcom and breach and clear)
iPad 4? If you mean iPod 4 too many to list. If you mean iPad 4, no. There are 0. Shadowrun would be my first recommendation for your shiny new iPad. I'll second EP's recommendation of Tiny Thief. Great game. Xcom and Limbo too. Really the whole list he gave. These 3 stand out to me though.
