So is this kind of like the McDonald's Management flash game? If so, count me in! I love that game! Also, your pics aren't working...
Wondering if iTunes is gonna censor the app name... This game is really gonna annoy the guys at PETA, which is almost reason enough to buy it. I don't think I have any time management games on my iPhone yet so I'm looking out for one good enough to be the first.
yup, it will, will appear as "C**k" in itunes. ...and yup, pics aren't working time management apps don't usually appeal to me but this one sounds humorous and fun
this sucks i can't see your pictures btw saw your thing for the other game, liked how it looked and bought just now
Don't know what's up with the screens...the URLs are correct...images are on Google. They worked in the post preview The name should be okay. If not, we'll have to rebrand Coock-a-Doodle? Yes annoying the animal lovers out there was a concern, but I think more people like fried chicken than don't so we'll just have to wait and see
Thanks for the images! I'll tidy it up later, put them in the post...in the middle of two jobs at the moment. Be done in a few hours Starting to get worried about the name now...is this Apple policy really? Surely they just wouldn't approve an app that meant cock in the other way...
If this podcast is any indication.. don't think it will be a problem http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=320645089
I think in these cases they will still allow the app through, but censor it in the search as someone said. I don't know if that will affect people trying to search for your game or not... There are other apps with their names censored so if someone can remember what they are we can try searching and see if they appear.
I still like Cook-A-Doodle. Wouldn't be hard to change and still keep your logo mostly intact. Actually y'know what, screw what happens on the search, it's a good name. If it were me I'd just leave it.
I like "Cook-a-Doodle" too! I've put it forward along with "Chickenville" and "Cockadoodle" (no hyphens) for consideration. We'll see what gets the votes at the office soon enough. Nice that you guys have given it serious thought instead of just ripping into the name ha ha
