From my understanding, Kemco doesn't actually make the games -- they just contract smaller companies and publish the games.

Perhaps Kemco needs to have stronger standards for their development teams.

Those people have much lower standards than we do

Hey, I play on both teams (even though I do play more on iOS). Kemco just happens to be one publisher who releases games on Android before iOS.

Anyway, I don't have this game, but in Kemco's defense, I haven't played a game they've published yet that I haven't liked. And when they have IAPs, they are truly optional. In a few games, they've had some extra dungeons, for instance, that are completely unrelated to the story. You always get a good RPG with at least a decent story (and some that exceed that).

The two negatives that I can agree with are the lack of universal and widescreen support. Other than that I'd say Kemco does publish quality games and you can trust them to do so. At least, I haven't been disappointed yet.

My main concern is why is each and every of their games ARE THE SAME? I swear this is like Chronicles 3.0, although I have to admit in terms if UI, graphics and animation they have improved by a bit but the fact remains this game is nothing new.

I felt that it was weird to advertise IAP in RPG Bonds of the Sky as a selling point too. The developer needs better marketing people...

As for the left margin issue::;

"We're already working on an update to the issue.
Hope you will find the update soon."

So... Yay!

Good to hear. This is otherwise one of the best Kemco RPGs I've played in a while.

Wow. $9 and IAP?! Not Universal?! Man. I think I'd rather sink into Final Fantasy V... or IV... Or even jump back into Chrono Trigger. Because at least it's a solid game with a good story, varied environments, and no lame/simple backgrounds.

I bought Fantasy Chronicles and have tried to get into it multiple times, but back in the day I enjoyed Crimson Gem Saga (no longer supported), Dragon's Odyssey: Frane, Lunar Touch, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy I-IV... There are tons of better games with no IAP.

But... I am still holding out hope that Kemco will publish something I'll enjoy.

Yeah, I've got to agree. I'm only about 2 and a half hours in, but it's looking like it'll wind up being amongst Fantasy Chronicle and Dark Gate as one of my favs.
