I've never tried those. iPadisGreat Well-Known Member Dec 10, 2012 2,391 0 0 #6 iPadisGreat, May 17, 2013 I prefer Alphadia 2's gameplay and exploration, but Symphony of the Origin was a short 10 hourish affair, which was just right for me. By the way, if you are interested in Ultima-style gameplay, get Avadon, Avernum: Escape from the Pit, and Avernum 6 too. I own all three and played the first two. Great and will hold attention through, but now suddenly so many good games out after Christmas 2012, no time to start on A6 yet... Any chance they will release a version for the iPhone? iPadisGreat Well-Known Member Dec 10, 2012 2,391 0 0 #8 iPadisGreat, May 18, 2013 I think zero chance of an iPhone port, because the Spiderweb games are basically Mac and PC ports, which is why the text is tiny compared to iOS native games. The best place to ask would be the Spiderweb forums, which oddly seems to be down at the moment... I am not the developer. Royce Well-Known Member Mar 22, 2011 4,239 179 63 #11 Royce, May 18, 2013 When was Avadon free? They do play similarly. Avernum is less linear and a bit more complex I would say. iamseamonster Well-Known Member Mar 8, 2010 214 0 0 #12 iamseamonster, May 18, 2013 Hmmm... I can't find any evidence of it but I could have sworn I got it for free. I really don't think I would have ever paid 5 for it which is the cheapest I can find it ever being... Not that it isn't worth 5, just back when I got it I was pretty much only buying games when they went free or 99 cents.. Maybe I'm just wrong!
