Guess I'd better pick up the iPad version while it's cheap. :)

You don't have this yet?

This, Bastion and NBA Jam! Three best iOS titles! :D

  8. Hehe, wouldn't go this far, have you ever played nba jam on an ipad? Framerate mess. Bastion is great.

This game? Just ok for me, worth a buck, but not that much more in my book. Recommended.

File size is a killer for me. I hardly ever keep games on my phone that are over 200MB regardless of how good they are.

Is the HD version a buck now? I admit i was waiting for it. I already have the SD version and loved it on the iphone, but im pretty sure this'll be a blast on the bigger screen.

This is one of the better story-driven dual stick shooters. So much better than Lock N Load and Bullet time, but Bullet Time is Pretty sick too. What i like about Lara Croft GOL is that there are a lot more to offer than just being a dual stick shooter. A lot more...

Yep. Picked it up. I was pretty fond of the iPhone version, but it just felt like everything was just way too small. Can't wait to try it on my iPad, and I hope the standard 'lack of retina graphics on a retina screen-ugliness' isn't a factor.

Same. The retina isnt a factor to me at all. I even downgraded form an ipad3 to an ipad mini and im happy.

Just got the HD version and i'll be firing it up later after lunch. :)

Oh yeah, I forgot you got a Mini. Nah, you'll be happy. ;)

Also, yeah...the game looks perfectly fine on a retina screen. No idea how I used to play this on an iPhone screen...so much more space to breathe (then again the same could be said for all games on an iPad vs. iPhone, right? >_>).

How does this compare to PC and PS3 versions? I have both but wouldn't mind a version on my iPad if comparable.

  18. Hey, I'm still young! ;)

  19. Yeah, this game looks good enough on my new ipad (3).

Looks and plays well on the mini as well, but the controls and buttons can be larger, but they are still good as they are now.
