Boom Boom Hamster Golf (first game from Hammercat Studios) - crosspost


Boom Boom Hamster Golf is the first game from HammerCat Studios. Let's start off with a trailer!


Our HammerCat team has been working on this game since October last year. The release version will feature one 9 hole course and 1 mini-game with new courses and mini-games coming out over the life of the game. In fact, we already have a lot of the work done on these new courses with new enemies, obstacles and a few secrets and surprises!


The main game is about playing a twisted round of golf by launching hamsters from your cannon from island to dangerous island. Aim the cannon by grabbing the shiny yellow nub on the back. You'll want to aim your shots using a colorful shot indicator projected on the ground, which matches the colors on your cannon shot meter.

Then, you fire the cannon by holding the button down and releasing it on the desired power. And boom! Your hamster flies through the air! If you manage to land on solid ground, you have the option to put some back or forward spin on your hamster by swiping your finger. If you fail to land on the ground… well… gulp... your hamster goes to live on grandpa's farm. Once you reach the putting green, you'll pull on your hamsters tail to snap him into the hole! You can play the holes individually for practice (or just for fun!) or sequentially as a course. Compete with the world's best scores on Game Center!


The mini-game controls much like the main game, except that all your shots are always full power! You have to hit as many targets as you can, aiming for the highest scoring sections. If you get enough points, you can extend your time. Like the main game, you can compete with the world for the best score!

What happens to the hamster when it comes in contact with those sawblades from the last screenshot? The idea is mildly terrifying and disturbingly interesting at the same time : )

Like I said, the hamster goes to live on grandpa's farm to play with all his hamster friends.

We used time, shot times to calculate the hight score? I saw something likes Catapul King and Early Birds, is not it?
