I modified the design of enemy bullets because there is a variety of dark/clear stages. I also tested this on both iPad 2 and iPod touch 4th gen, made device specific adjustments...

Overall I don't have a problem seeing bullets and I'm kind of fond of the new design.

Came to add the problem seems to be only for one or two light backgrounds for me where bullets blend in too much. Using Ipad 3

Bullet hell?

I've been asked whether this was like a Touhou game. Would you guys say it's more of a bullet hell SHMUP, a classic SHMUP, or neither?

Also, there was a couple of glitches / confusing messages with stage unlock, v1.1.1 fixed this and was out yesterday.

Other question: should I ask a moderator to update the game thread name (I believe the name 'Darwin's nightmare' will stick) or make a new one?

And finally, for the scientifically inclined (so to speak) there is now a featured Gamasutra article explaining a bit how evolution works in the game.
