Patriots didn't win the game! Atlanta blew it and lost the game themselves... Frikkin' handed it to 'em!
How so! Patriots scored like 28 unanswered points in the 4th quarter. Thats hardly losing the game themselves. It wouldnt of even been that close is the Pats didnt have 2 turnovers in the red zone of the Falcons. That was 2 big turnovers so if it wasnt for that the Falcons only got 14 points on there own.
This is true. # They capitalized when they did. That's all that matters, right? And came out on top in the end........
I feel for Falcon fans; I'm old enough to have seen the Red Sox snatch defeat from the jaws of victory in 1986. But I've got to say, it takes a special kind of fortitude to stay in a game -- especially the biggest one of them all -- when you're losing by more than 20 points on the third quarter. The Falcons may have gifted the Patriots a few opportunities, but you have to give it to Tom Brady et al for not totally collapsing and being there to rally when they had the chance.
......once again, this is true! No arguing with that! Never been an Atlanta fan, either, but I woulda rooted for any team to beat the Pats 'cause I hate them, and I hate Brady, and Belacheck, or however you say his name! I'm a Steeler fan, but I grew up a Rams fan and Raider fan here in beautiful sunny Southern California since the late 60's.
