      What is the best plane game and why? I'd have to go with FAST: Cheap, extensive indepth gameplay (campaign, training, bombruns, dogfights), unlockable planes, great graphics/controls, and multiplayer!

      *Mainly discussing 3D games. I love MiniSquadron though! :)

      "plane game" instantly made me think of minisquadron.

      the only choice in the poll I have is x-plane. which seems to be somewhat of a waste of money, looking back at it now. although i do fire it up still once in a while

      Skies of Glory

      Skies of Glory has been my favorite since it's came out so thats my vote. Previous to that i would say Aera and F.A.S.T.

      i chose x-plane simply because i have airliner and love sim type of game instead of combats... ;)

      Fast i think is the best realistic/simulation plane game while mini Squadron is the best arcade type plane game.

      I like Skies of Glory, although I don't have any DLC on it, it still keeps me coming back.

      XPlanr was a waste of money. I think it's good that they add features all the time but it's still a cr*p sim.
