Hey everyone I'm new to iPhone development and this forum and I just thought I would introduce myself I'm currently a junior at Stanford, and I'm taking the iphone dev class this term. This is my first time programming for a mobile device so I'm really excited, and me and a friend are working on a super awesome game hopefully to be released sometime around April-May. I've been programming as long as I can remember, but Objective-C and the apple frameworks are new to me; feel free to ask me any questions but it'll probably mostly be the other way around BTW if you're also new to the forum, feel free to hijack the thread and introduce yourself too. I looked around for a bit but didnt find an introductions thread so...
Welcome dogmeat and qub1t, Nice to see new faces! I'm what you would call 'the boss' around here. Feel free to praise, bribe, or kiss my ass, I might make your 'respect' count higher! Remember 1,000 posts = $100 dollars in itunes vouchers!
Way to steal my gimmick there, da [censored] whiz. Welcome, Qbert, I hope you're stay here will be hospitable.
Do you want to start this again, i'm more crazy than you so shut up, everyone knows i'm the crazyest person on TA.
I am not trying to argue with you. We are actually talking about two different things: in my case, "crazY", and in yours, "crazy". You are the crazyest; I, however, am the crazYest. Sorry, derek420, I forgot all about Mr.Crazy when I posted.
Ah, good question. While you may need to get it approved by Mr Crazy, I believe the spot is still open.
It's the world and it's bread that is crazy, you're all perfectly sane. I have confirmed this with the giant squrrel that wonders space and he's told me that if you believe yourself to be crazy it's just because you're too sane to understand how crazy you aren't.
And now the new guy knows all the funny characters of these forums The other ones are a bit shy. We're the types that like to hang out in a clubhouse, rip off our scabs and get in trouble.
