Check out our upcoming old-school turn-based party-based RPG Antharion for the iPad. You can see the full length trailer along with tons of additional content on our Kickstarter page below... Antharion's Kickstarter Page
Wow... I would definitely like to see this avaliable on iPod/iPhone small screen too. Any chance of a Universal build?
Funny you ask, we've actually just began looking into this. We're also looking into cloud services that would enable you to pick up and play your saved games from any device.
Definitely go Universal if you can, I would purchase this in a heartbeat but am stuck on the "small screen." I think making apps universal great increases their audience.
This looks great so far. Have you considered adding the following things? Switches or pressure plates that open up entrances to hidden rooms. Quests to earn rare items , gear or spells. Eg. Find a spell book that a Mage is looking for. You can keep the book to cast a certain spell or give the book to the Mage to get another equally rare spell. Find a magical sword the replenishes life per attack or give it to It's owner and receive the boots of speed that allows the wearer to attack twice in one turn. The option to negotiate with monsters who may switch sides to fight for you. Good luck with your game!
4 days left on Kickstarter, but already funded. If the developer can confirm Universal/iPhone/iPod availability I'd contribute.
Any updates post-funding? It looks like the project made it nearly to the 4th stretch goal. There's a Orphic Software forum but it doesn't look very active.
Man, I completely forgot about this gem!! Thanks for the updated trailer! Hopefully we'll be seeing in the AppStore really soon.
This looks to be exactly the type of game I have been waiting the play. A turn based party dungeon romp. Now to just patiently wait.
Antharion's Steam Greenlight page just states "2014" as release. I imagine the recently released video is a hint they are nearing completion to enter beta.
Sadly I am a KS backer and no updates now in the past 2 months. Sure hope this didn't become vaporware.
I dint know of this game before now. Looking forward to it. (stuff takes time, particulary for non-fulltime devs )
