I hope this game isn’t always online. It’s by Square Enix so that has me worried. These big companies tend to make ‘always online’ games.

I don’t think it is since it’s a port of a PS Vita game. Also, I think Square Enix might have more premium games than online/F2P on the Western app stores.

Fortunately, this game is a premium.

It does not require a constant internet connection.

Maybe. The original version of this game had a global launch and English support. Therefore, expectations for the English language support and global launch of this game, which is launched on mobile, are positive.

i am KINDA reassured lmao. my favorite valkyrie profile game and my favorite srpg is valkyrie profile covenant of the plume on nintendo ds. the writing was sublime, the story was mature, the gameplay was challenging, the art was amazing, the seraphic gate difficult as balls....i wish we can also get it on mobile someday. it's sad tri ace have kinda gone the way they did.

anyways thanks for your efforts on this thread regarding this game. i'll keep checking in every few days to see if there are any updates.
