Dungeon Nightmares. I've smashed the home button, yanked out my headphones, and entered the fetal position within 30 seconds of play at least 500 times.
You don't necessarily need a PG rating to be scary... Year Walk is decidedly non violent but it was scary if you put yourself in the main character's shoes.
Indigo Lake. Despite the very atmospheric and engaging nature of Year Walk's nature, the visual style is so beautiful it detracts it from being downright scary for me.
again agree with EP, indigo lake it is, the scariest iOS game on my list, second place goes to dead space. dunno if it would change if FM hit the App Store later which we all know it wouldn't happen anytime soon.
I played Indigo. Lake quite a bit but found it not really suiting me just because I never have more than a few minutes game time. I end up trying to figure out where I left off and suffice to say, it breaks any tension the game puts on me. Have you guys tried Slender Rising 2 and Dungeon Nightmares? jCho says the latter is great but I personally haven't tried it. I loved Dead Space BTW.
^Sad to hear you cant play for longer sessions. That would really destroy any game's grip on you if it started to.
Just picked up Dungeon Nightmares, but haven't had a chance to play it yet. I'm so busy right now. But I'm hoping it will do the trick!
Trust me, it will. It's a pretty fantastic horror game And yeah Dead Space is definitely 2nd place for me. Criminally I haven't played. Indigo Lake yet but I have been planning to
So... I just watched a gameplay video of Slender Rising 2 on YouTube and I don't know. It just doesn't seem scary to me. Yes there's the shock factor of having slender in your face but other than that, there's nothing too scary about it. Makes me want to play Fatal Frame 2.... Now that's scary.
