Thank you for the kind words , the little cartoon movie is in the making , ill make an update when its done Cheers Roy.
Seems like you seriously took note of my last topic.. This is the perfect example of such game oh and the music.. really? I seriously don't get it either. You have the skills to make a good game I guess, why don't you try to make something a little more original? I mean inspiration is always a good thing but this game is just 1 on 1 cut the rope. Even the godawefull music! IT LACKS SOUL PEOPLE!
@Prozak I really don't get your frustration , im an indie developer just in the beginning of my carrier, And yes , i do take many inspirations from games that i like to play . Sure the atmosphere of the game was inspired by CTR , BUT even if CTR didn't exist i would still do it almost the same ! And about the cartoon movie - there is a story behind the game , and im going to present it with a little cartoon movie , whats wrong with that ?! So now making a cartoon movie for your game takes your its soul away? On the contrary!! it shows the developer DO put time and effort to provide a full package of delights! I can only hope that if you get to play the game once its published , you will change your mind and say that THIS GAME DO HAS SOUL! Cheers. Roy.
Well, I'm sure it has.. in it's own way I hope. I just find it sad to see how you've used your talent by making something way too similair to cut the rope. Nevertheless I do hope that it will make sales but hey, try to be a little more creative next time I apreciate the effort by making a cartoon btw. Good luck with that.
I don't see a resemblance in gameplay copying from cut the rope at all, Maybe slightly in the graphics, but that's the go these days, that style is IN and it's here to stay! Look at save yammis artwork, it's way more of a CTR rip off than this one, yet it's still doing great.. I'm a huge cut the rope fan and I love that art style and would NEVER not download a game just because they have similar art styles! Maybe if someone created an exact replica of CTR, including the same gameplay , then you'd have the right to be mad, but not over a very slight resemblance in art work, sheesh, and the music, that's probably because it's stock music who anyone can use! (maybe?) I don't know. But that's really not the point, this game looks fantastic, and the gameplay elements aren't anything like CTR, people need to stop being so darn quick to point the finger at everyone, god, these indie devs are doing great things developing games for us at an incredibly low price, and all people do is whinge, whine and point the finger, or complain of plagiarism, or complain that it should be free, it's just absolutely nuts! If people keep behaving the way they are towards devs who are doing us a favor by bringing us great mobile entertainment on our phones for a couple bucks, then who knows, they might stop! Then god forbid what those people would do with their lives then! They wouldn't have anything to complain about and probably curl up and die! Anyway, I think this game is adorable, I love the artwork, love the gameplay elements, the AppStore can never have too many cute casual puzzlers in my opinion! Love them and I chew through them pretty fast! Really looking forward to it..is their an estimated release date yet!) Or a HD version planned? I only play games on my iPad, but if a game doesn't have a HD version I'm happy to play it on iPad with x2 magnify . I love the sound the squirrel makes..cute !
