No demo or limited program? Not worth paying for something there's so many of in the market just for a chance to win a gift card. Sorry
But the idea of these 'competitions' are to generate great 5 star reviews for apps. With promo codes you cant leave a review, so for paid apps they have to have competitions like this.
I may be jumping the guns here but looks like developers of Sports.com may be scamming people I had won their last competition 3 days back http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=218634 FYI the starter of that thread is also from Plus Sports But there has been no confirmation after the initial asking for my email id So Beware P.S I may be wrong as delay could have been for other reasons but I expected them to atleast communicate that there will be delay
Well regardless of if it's real or not the app actually works for me so no loss. There was another dev that had these workout apps that seem like they are the same with a different paint job, those guys were legit and had many contests on TA
I was curious so I ended up trying it. I reviewed as MikeBish. To those who are curious, it does seem to be somewhat accurate though. Surprisingly, using to camera to record my face seemed more accurate than placing my finger on the lens. It gave me about the same pulse as when I hand measure it. Overall a pretty neat little app, but there isn't iPad support. To the devs, please add that in the future!
Yeah, I'd appreciate the iPad support, as now I use only that and my Note 3 (Android) phone. Would be interested in trying this app.
Yeah, I get the feeling that the devs aren't the type to listen to the community or update their apps
Please let me know if you receive your prize via PM, if you dont i may look into suspending these accounts of the devs
