KiwiRed Active Member Oct 28, 2011 39 0 0 Christchurch, NZ #14 KiwiRed, Dec 8, 2012 I tried it, as a big fan of the first one, but it has this little quirk that *really* frustrates me. Between battles it has this annoying habit of slowly displaying the post-game results and rewards, which you can't skip. (It did the same thing on PC as well, and it frustrated me just as much there as well, so it might just be me) Also it just wasn't as much fun as the original (and considering the HD version of PQ was one of the reasons I bought my ipad, I was rather annoyed to find it was no longer available). Visually it's pretty good, but it seems over-complicated with the extra game-types, and the story and game world are lacking (which is odd, considering how derivative and formulaic the first one was - but the first *did* have one of the best soundtracks I've heard in gaming). The space sequel was awful IMO. I just tried this out and it plays great and seems to be alot of fun. Not sure where all of the bad reviews are coming from, but, for $1.99 -- I'd give it a shot if you like these types of games. But I did finally give in and bought it, which means it'll probably be the next Starbucks freebie any day now. Does this game really freeze and crash that much or is it due to the iDevice being used?
