A rainy night battle. Battle at dusk in the forest. Hey all, we'd like to introduce one of our next games: War Tortoise! The best way to describe War Tortoise is to take a clicker/tapper, and replace the clicking/tapping mechanic with 3rd person shooting (ie, there is not tapping - combat is like a typical 3rd person shooter). That means there is an emphasis on wave progression, the upgrade loop, prestige mechanic, and manual vs auto DPS. It can probably almost be called an "idle shooter." We've also focused quite a bit on top tier graphics, including physically based lighting, bloom, reflections, real time shadows, and other high end graphical effects, all running at 60fps on latest devices. As you can see from the gifs, once you build up your army it becomes quite a battlefield, with bullets and explosions all over the place - we really wanted the player to feel like they were building up an unstoppable army over the course of the game! Game is 99% complete and will almost certainly be hitting the App Store sometime in March or early April!
Gotta love it when Foursaken strikes! Not really into clickers but I'm sure these guys will have their own special imprint on it and it'll be an instant classic. Can't wait!!
Looks scifi cool! So are you a tortoise at war? And it looks like you are aiming then shooting, so is it point to aim and then tap-tap-tap depending on the weapon? Like the shooting in NYZ games? Whatever, it is a FM game so... lets do it! As always, willing to betatest and take time from my four children and wife ....woah. random thought: i now have four kids... maybe.... maybe they can all learn to program, design graphics, sounds, genre-mashing-up and... I could have my own in-house Foursaken hahaha. The oldest is 6 though so got awhile.
I should clarify... there is no tapping at all. The meta game is like a tapper (heavy upgrade cycle, prestige/starting over to get more powerful, etc). The combat is actual aiming and shooting, like a 3rd person shooter. In fact, you can play the game one handed as well. And hehe yeah, gotta get em started early!
Holy crap. This is exactly what I would want to play. With my disability sometimes my hands hurt so bad. I can't wait. Seriously I can't wait to play this. Billy

Thanks Devs for adding 'skills needed' in this one-hander, yeah! What a waist otherwise of those gorgeous graphics if it would be a soulless tapper. I'm on board and some iap coins for a full unlock (?) are saved.
I love how everyone comes out to watch and celebrate the spectacle of a FM game. Every. Single. Time. Looks like there are all kinds of different enemies... and the army in the night shot, what are those, towers? Looks like a drone above the turtle, too... Wonder if you can upgrade/mod your weapons? Its new ip stuff, too, looks very Warhammer-ish... your army looks goblin or troll-ish?
