I thought the list looked a bit familiar . As for the poll, I have issue with voting for the "best dss." The genres of the games on that list are extremely varied. We have games like Mingore being compared to Pocket RPG, Max Adventure to Bug Panic, Bug Heroes to Solomon's Keep, Infinity Field to Guerrilla Bob, PewPew2 to Alive 4-Ever, etc. There is no real way to discern best when people have a favorite genre that they prefer. There are definitely favorites among some but "best" is not a term I would apply to such a broad category of games.
Bullet Time for me. I actually really liked D.A.R.K, got a bit samey but loved the graphics, just disappointed with the slow updates (eventually got the final 'world'). But Bullet Time i just loved. A lot of very very good games though so its difficult to pick just one (or two)
Infinity Field. Max Adventure as far as story-based DSSs. Don't really know if the Bug Heroes games should be here. I consider them to be more RPG-like with Tower Defense and DSS elements thrown in the mix.
