There's a ton of maps, a good deal of weapons, and an awesome life system that's quite different from other DSS. Definitely worth the dollar. I'd say it's in my top 3 for DSS. I loved Solomon's Keep/Boneyard (played 1st) and M.Bug Panic. After Bug Panic, it's been *really* hard to enjoy other dual stick shooters (including Meteor Blitz!). I blame Bug Panic for basically *ruining* the dual stick shooters genre for me.. Lol.. Capsizing Heart Well-Known Member Jul 21, 2011 316 0 0 Student. The controls can make it really frustrating. tops2 Well-Known Member Jan 21, 2011 2,067 44 48 #14 tops2, Aug 19, 2011 Haha..don't know why I even waited overnight to "think" about getting this. I only have a few games on my wishlist, and this has been on there for a while. Just picked it up before leaving for work. Fun stuff! Fun game, loads fast, perfect for quick toilet sessions! @Capsizing Heart: On the main menu there's option for movement & shooting to be fixed or floating. I prefer using fixed for both... flameon Well-Known Member Jul 26, 2011 1,172 0 0 #15 flameon, Aug 19, 2011 This one isnt that great... I prefer this game called vertex blaster over this. AoZ is so repetitive, thats why. syntheticvoid Well-Known Member Jun 20, 2010 14,504 124 63 Musician & factory worker. a[V-O-I-D] http://apparentsymmetry.bandcamp.com #16 syntheticvoid, Aug 19, 2011 awesome, I've been waiting for this to go on sale for a LONG time... =oD tops2 Well-Known Member Jan 21, 2011 2,067 44 48 #17 tops2, Aug 19, 2011 Lol.. Me too. The game brings nothing new to the dual stick shooters..but man, its fun for me. I love the artwork for this game. I guess I'm a sucker for 2d sprites. I also like how even if I play with the brightness down, the game is still bright enough for me to pick out the enemies. To me, theres more than enough games that uses dark environment (while great), makes it hard to play if the brightness is turned down. Maybe we'll have a AoZ competition! lol... There's actually a scoring combo system in this game that I haven't really figured out yet. While its not bullet hell, its..um.. *zombie swarming hell*? ;P syntheticvoid Well-Known Member Jun 20, 2010 14,504 124 63 Musician & factory worker. a[V-O-I-D] http://apparentsymmetry.bandcamp.com #18 syntheticvoid, Aug 19, 2011 yeah, totally... I've had the lite forever... and it's just LOADS of fun... even though it doesn't bring anything new to the genre, what's there is done SO well. =oD And yes... we can totally have an Age Of Zombies Competition!! The game is great fun when you can actually control it. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
