I'm really interested - what was the first game you bought for your iDevice (the first iPod touch, iPhone or iPad you bought - not an upgrade one when you're already familiar with the app store). Mine was DoodleJump - the only game (except Angry Birds) that I'd heard of. I'm guessing that it's gonna be quite a few people's first games as well. Also - only paid games - not free stuff - hence bought. Thanks
I updated my first generation iPhone to 2.0 two days before it was officially released and spent $15 on Tetris and $10 on Super Monkey Ball. EA lowered the price of Tetris to $10 by the time the firmware was released through iTunes but that's what I get for buying early.
Hero of Sparta for $9.99 somewhere in the later half of 2008. Played the hell out of it and became a Gameloft fan :].
$9.99 for Cro-Mag Rally $7.99 for Bowling $9.99 for Asphalt 4 $5.99 for Pool all in the first day of my iPod touch. You can this all today for $3.96!
Touchgrind! Also Peggle and Edge on the first day... can't remember any others but there were probably a few more. Ah, Flight Control. A classic; almost forgotten by now
Jellycar was the first download. Touchgrind was my first purchase. I remember when it was new, it was the talk of the town xD
Pocket god on the same day i got a bunch of others like Fruit Ninja, Doodle Jump, Angry Birds, Jelly Car, Glow Hockey etc. etc. But Pocket God and Doodle Jump are the only ones i still play from my original collection of about 20 apps.
checked my purchese history(first actual purchese was a 5 dollar update from itunes for my itouch) It was chuzzle! Still on my device then nova, then zombieville usa, and finally peggle!
Boxhead... first purchase I regretted too. But I got all in one gamebox and colosseum (sp?) shortly after and love those so... BTW that was at least a month after I got my device. I started out with only free apps but have since "evolved". I have a receipt on there.... i downloaded 74 free apps in one sitting. I am shocked.
